Thursday highlights

Boys bidistrict

Amarillo High scored two goals in each half to knock off Lubbock High 4-1 in a Class 5A bidistrict contest at the AHS Turf on Thursday. Braedan Williamson scored two goals and added an assist in the win.

Borger advanced to the area round defeating Mountain View 4-2 in a Class 4A bidistrict game at Midland’s Grande Communication Stadium. Allen Cardenas netted a hat trick, while teammate Brian Nava scored a goal with an assist.

Dumas survived Clint with a 3-2 win in overtime in a Class 4A bidistrict game Thursday in Midland. The contest was tied 3-3 after regulation and the overtime period. The Demons won in penalty kicks, 3-2, to advance to the area round.

Girls bidistrict

Canyon’s Mackenzie Roberts tallied a hat trick, and teammate Bryleigh Burk added a goal and three assists as the Lady Eagles soared past El Paso Riverside 7-0 in a Class 4A bidistrict game in Midland.

Annamarie Murray lit up Clint for an eye-opening five goals during a Lady Harvesters 11-0 blowout win Thursday in a Class 4A bidistrict clash in Midland.

Dumas made three first half goals standup in a 3-1 victory against Mountain View on Thursday during a Class 4A bidistrict matchup. Demonette players, Tori Harris, Yassmin Marchan and Yessenia Gonzalez all netted goals.
