Top 10 performers from Week 11 across the Texas Panhandle

Elliot Brown, River Road, RB, Sr.

The electric senior put on an unforgettable performance during River Road’s 33-27 win at Dalhart. Brown chewed up the Golden Wolves defense for a career-high 332 yards on 32 carries with five touchdowns, including a 76-yard TD run with only 3:42 to play giving the Wildcats the lead for good.


Juan Romero, Dumas, WR, Sr.

Welcome back, Juan Romero. After missing all of the season recovering from an ACL injury, the senior made his return snagging three balls for 111 yards with a score as Dumas downed Pampa 48-21 for a fifth straight outright district championship.


Collin Bishop, Childress, Sr. QB

Bishop led Childress to its first win over rival Canadian for the first time in 22 years, while securing the Bobcats outright district title. Bishop totaled 319 yards of offense on his own rushing for 124 yards with a pair of TDs, and throwing for 195 yards for three more touchdowns.


Carson Seaman, Spearman, QB, So.

What a gutsy outing for the sophomore. Seaman

turned it on in the second half to help the Lynx into the postseason by taking out Tulia, 45-28. The gunslinger did his part and then some completing 10-of-18 for 274 yards with two touchdowns, and ran for another score.

Joaquin Segovia, Vega, QB-RB, Jr.

Filling in for Ryan Grawunder at QB, Segovia showed his versatility with a career outing in the Longhorns 61-24 win at Sunray. The Bobcats had no answer for the speedy junior as piled up a career-best 317 rushing yards on only 14 carries, averaging 22.4 yards a carry, with an astounding seven touchdowns.


Jmaury Davis, Clarendon, WR, Jr.

The Division I prospect was all over the field during the Broncos 42-41 thrilling road win at Shamrock to secure the district title. Davis showed his power, and speed rushing for 74 yards on 16 carries with a score, and caught seven catches for 117 yards with a pair of TDs.

Damon Carrasco, Caprock, RB, Jr.

Carrasco is on the list for a second straight week after another superb performance that resulted in a 52-20 win at Lubbock High The junior ended his night with 188 yards on 17 carries with three touchdowns.


Parker Cunningham, Canyon WR, Sr.

The sure-handed wide out hauled in nine catches for 126 yards with a pair of touchdowns helping Canyon secure second place by beating Hereford, 40-16.


Abraham Hernandez, Perryton, Sr, QB

Perryton wrapped up third place out District 2-4A Division II by taking down Borger, 41-7, and the senior signal call is a big reason why going 14-of-24 for 158 yards with three touchdown tosses.


Pace Bressler, Happy, RB, Sr.

The senior running back made a superb return from injury just in time for Happy’s playoff push. Bressler marched over Claude during a 74-0 shutout, carrying the ball only three times for 94 yards and two touchdowns.
