Sparks took time out of her schedule to talk with Press Pass Sports about her senior season and her career. How exciting is it to play what looks to be a senior season?

You witnessed a lot of student-athletes season end suddenly last March. How have you and your teammates been able to handle everything going on around you off the floor?
“It’s definitely been a struggle trying to learn everything, and how to handle certain situations. The mask’s are definitely different. I feel like we’ve all handled it really well and we’ve done what we needed to keep our season.”
How much do you feel like your game has developed at the varsity level over the past three years?
“I feel like I’ve definitely improved. I know I’ve gotten quicker but my confidence has definitely gotten so much better since I’ve gotten to play with so many different teammates. I learned so much from the older girls above me and now I hope I can pass that down to younger girls now.”
How have you enjoyed playing with coach (Sara) Morath and her staff.”
“Coach (Sara) Morath is great. Every coach has a different style, but she has one of the most positive attitudes. She handles situations great and helps us handle everything in a positive way.”
What are expectations for the Canyon Lady Eagles this season?
“As long as everyone plays in their role and does what they are suppose to do, and plays as a team it’s going to be another big year.”
