Borger (0-2) at Pampa (2-0), 7 p.m. One of the great rivalries in all of the Texas Panhandle unfolds in this homecoming game at Pampa. Pampa has the gunslinger in QB Jack Studebaker along with an underrated defense. Ever-improving Borger wants this upset in the worst way and spoil the Harvesters festivities. ... Pampa 38, Borger 14.
Estacado (0-2) at Canyon (1-0), 7 p.m. What a way to open renovated Happy State Bank Field (formerly The Bro). Canyon Open 2020 last week like a house on fire scoring 31 points in the first quarter. Estacado is definitely eye-opening at 2-0 but the two losses are to legit teams in Greenwood and Dumas. Hold on this one is going to be a wild ride and down to the last quarter. ... Perryton (0-2) at Dumas (2-0), 7 p.m. Dumas is ranked No. 4 in the state and that may be too low. The Demons are THAT good. Perryton is still finding its way under coach Hab in his first year. Dumas is a rattlesnake at home owning a 10-game winning streak. Make it 11. ... Dumas 42, Perryton 14.
