Despite completing a pass, the Rebels put up 371 yards on the ground as a team while holding AHS to 244 total yards.

Dumas dominates Perryton

Dumas shook off a slow offensive start for a 51-20 route of Perryton in the season opener at Demons Stadium.

It appeared to be a slow night for the Dumas, which couldn’t find the end zone the entire first quarter.

After a sluggish start that saw the Demons actually trail 7-0, off a quarterback Spencer Williams pick six, Dumas shook off the early season jitters, lighting up the scoreboard for 42 points between the second and third quarter.

Junior running back Jacob Mares had a career night rushing 18 times for 118 yards with two TDs.
