Ryan Palmer has given himself his best chance at his first indiviaul PGA Tour win since 2010 after a third straight solid outing at the RBC Heritage Classic at the Harbour Town Golf Links in S.C.
Palmer is in a four-way tie for the lead at 15-under par, after firing a 5-under, 66, during Saturday’s third round.
The 43-year old has played near flawless golf over the past three days, posting only two bogeys to go with 15 birdies and an eagle.
On Saturday, the Amarillo High graduate carded six birdies to one bogey.
Palmer is looking for his first individual PGA Tour win since the Sony Open in 2010. He and partner Jon Rahm did win the PGA’s team event, the Zurich Class in 2019.
Palmer is tied with Tyrell Hatton, Abraham Ancer and Webb Simpson heading into Sunday’s final round. Palmer is set to tee off at 1 p.m. Sunday with playing parter, Simpson.
