What a start it’s been for the West Plains Lady Wolves in only their first year.

The Lady Wolves opened the tournament by blanking Lubbock Estacado 5-0, then took to El Paso Riverside 9-0, followed by a rout of Plainview 9-0. It was the second time over the week that West Plains had decimated the Lady Bulldogs after a 12-1 win last Tuesday. West Plains then claimed the championship trophy on Saturday by getting another shutout this time of the Frenship JV, 2-0.

Vanessa Baca had an outstanding performance scoring a total of four goals, including one against the Frenship JV. The junior added five assists over the four wins.
