West Plains wins district debut over Pampa

It couldn’t have been a better district debut at home Friday night for the West Plains Lady Wolves.

West Plains scored the first district win in program history at home, taking an early lead over Pampa and riding defense the rest of the way for a 44-32 victory. The Lady Wolves (4-8, 1-0 in district) held Pampa (8-6, 0-1) to 12 points in the second half.

Brooklyn Pearson scored a game-high 12 points for West Plains, 10 coming in the first half.
